Debut des Haricots began about seven years ago squatting unused spaces in Brussels to create community gardens. Eeventually they managed to get funding and opened an urban farm. They now have accreditation and enough funding to fully train four people on the farm over two years. All in all, their operation involves a handful of people, four being trainees. They are agroecological, provide a set number of food boxes to over 30 households. and have a kitchen unit that cooks their own produce for special events.
