As part of our Harvest Festival, we would like to announce that we are presenting a film screening of the acclaimed film “Vanishing of the Bees” in Dublin Food Co-Op on Thursday 12 September at 8 pm. The film takes a piercing investigative look at the economic, political and spiritual implications of the disappearance of the honeybee worldwide. It also examines the current agriculture landscape and celebrates the ancient and sacred connection between humans and honeybees.
It will be preceded by a screening of “LifeLine”, a short 15 minute film by Greg Dunne on the old train line from Broadstone to Broombridge.
