Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Community Grants Scheme 2022:

The aim of the Community Grants Scheme is to support the dlr Corporate Goal of “Providing quality community, recreational, sporting and cultural opportunities for all who live, work and visit the county”.
The availability of small-scale community grants seeks to address some of the difficulties local community groups face in accessing funding to match their own resources for local community projects/events.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Community Activities Fund 2021-2022:

The Community Activities Fund will support groups, particularly in disadvantaged areas:

  • With their non-pay running costs, for example,  utility bills (electricity costs, refuse charges, heating charges) or other non-pay operating costs for example rental/lease costs, insurance bills.
  • Groups will also be able to use the funding to carry out necessary repairs and improvements to their facilities, purchase equipment  for example tables and chairs, tools and signage, laptops and printers, lawnmowers, canopies and training equipment etc.

The upper limit for any grant application is set at €10,000 and the application deadline is the 18th February 2022.

Dublin Northwest Partnership (DNP) Community Grant:

This grant is for Local Community Groups and community organisations in the Dublin North West area.

The Community Grant strand of support will be launched at Dublin Northwest Partnership ‘Social Inclusion’ seminar, which will be held on February 4th, 2022, on Zoom. To book your place for the seminar please click HERE. The application process will be presented in detail at this seminar.

DNP will provide training on completion of the Application Form on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 9th Feb at 6pm and
  • Thursday 10th February at 11am.
  • Both sessions will take place on Zoom.  Applicants need only attend 1 session.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 25th February at 4PM.

2022 Fingal Funding for Festivals and Events:

The vital role that arts and culture plays in the community has been recognised by Fingal County Council, as it announced that it was once again inviting groups and organisations in the County to apply for much needed financial assistance.

It is hoped that the funding – which will be considered for festivals and events taking place in 2022 – will be a welcome boost for groups who have faced a number of setbacks and challenges in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Closing date for applications is 4th Frebruary 2022.
